Design made for "Change Clothing USA" to bring awareness to certain mental illness here being Anorexia.
Anorexia is a really touchy subject for me because my younger sister used to struggle with it starting at a very young age. This psychological and life-threatening eating-disorder can be triggered by the "thin culture" promoted on social medias that constantly reinforce thin people as ideal stereotypes, but also family and childhood trauma as well as peer pressure among friends and co-workers to be "thin".
Anorexia Nervosa has the highest mortality rate of any mental health issue. The physical dangers of starvation and consequences of declining mental and physical health are numerous. The best thing you can do to help a friend or anyone who's facing Anorexia is to direct them to the help they need while being supportive in the recovery journey.
